EMF General Secretary Mr Rafal Szlachta had a meeting in Saint Petersburg with General Secretary of IFMA Mr Stephan Fox and President of Russian Muaythai Federation Mr Dimitri Putilin regarding to the World Championship in 2012. We are working hard to make this the biggest and the finest event in the Muaythai world and we believe that we will achieve our goal.

We met some representatives of the city authority who ensured us that they will provide all the necessary support for World Championship 2012. We also visited the stadium "Olympic" where all magic will take place. The stadium has all required features to make this event successful. The good news is also that there will be one hotel for all participants what will make easier all the logistics.

Another good news is that our EMF General Secretary Mr Rafal Szlachta was chosen to be a technical delegate for World Championship. It will be a warranty of quality of this event which is so important because it will be a test event for the Sport Accord Games in 2013 which will take a place also in Saint Petersburg. We have no doubts that Europe will show his strength and every Federation will bring big and strong team.
