Open Polish Muaythai Championship was held 4-5 June in beautiful City Krakow. It was really well organized event and the finale was the memorable show. The event was attended by many visitors not only from Poland but also from neighboring European countries.
Open Polish Muaythai Championship was held 4-5 June in beautiful City Krakow. It was really well organized event and the finale was the memorable show. The event was attended by many visitors not only from Poland but also from neighboring European countries.

We were graced by the presence of the guests such as H.E. Akrasid Amatayakul, Ambassador of Thailand, representatives of municipal government, the Ministry of Sports and Culture, the police leaders and famous Polish sportsmen. It was carried out the active campaign Muaythai against drugs - "Narkotyki boksuj mity". Guests are handed out leaflets and stickers various brochures about the dangers of drugs. Likewise, the guests were given the opportunity to try Thai cuisine restaurant providing by Thai restaurant Samui. What is more, all the participants and guests were pleased with authentic Thai music. It was the first time when the musician from Krakow Music Academy played live Wai Kru and music for all rounds at the Championship.

Participants demonstrated high Championship level. The most successful was the Cracow club RACHADAM. World champion Rafal Simonides and the Champion of Slovakia and Europe Tomas Tadlanek was fighting at the last battle. All participants and visitors were very impressed during the night battle. The fight was really beautiful and audience could not take eyes from the ring. The winner was Rafal Simonides. Ambassador of Thailand, Director of Sports and Tourism Ministry and Secretary General of the European Muaythai Federation personally congratulated the winners. All people were satisfied and took part in photo shoots with Rafal Simonides.

We thank the organizers and participants and all of the guests for an unforgettable experience in Muaythai.
